This study explored and described individual elementary principals experiences of ethical decision-making. How school principals resolved dilemmas through Shapiro and Stefkovich s (2011) multiethical paradigms approach. Clark Moustakas (1994) model of transcendental phenomenology and Robert Nash s (2002) three moral languages provided the basis for this research study. Interviews and a demographics questionnaire explored the school administrators perceptions on leading in the rural context.
