Autorenporträt
Rose Hewlett is a freelance local historian and former secretary to Frampton Court Estate. Her great-grandparents lived in the village during the First World War, while her grandfather worked for Morelands Matches. Rose's previous works include Frampton on Severn: Portrait of a Victorian Village and (with Jean Speed) Frampton on Severn: An Illustrated History. Frampton Remembers World War One is a not-for-profit organisation which encourages the community to study the effects of the First World War on the village of Frampton on Severn and to learn more about the service of its men and women.
