Her latest story, Frances Flamingo: Prima Ballerina, was inspired by students who needed reassurance when learning new material. Dottie's instruction goes beyond mere dance steps. She sprinkles confidence like confetti and instills in her students the belief that every new step is simply an opportunity for growth. Her greatest joy lies in witnessing her students flourish, as they learn not only the art of dance but also invaluable life lessons in perseverance, friendship, and self-discovery. Dottie lives in Houston TX with her husband and rescue pup, Lily.
