On 9 April 1841, Lady Frances married the politician, Robert Jocelyn, Viscount Jocelyn, the eldest son of Robert Jocelyn, 3rd Earl of Roden. Now a courtesy viscountess, Lady Jocelyn was appointed a Lady of the Bedchamber to the Queen that year. Lord and Lady Jocelyn had four children.
