Thomas Williams is the author of The Bay Area School: California Artists of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. He has been a writer and art dealer since 1987, and is the author of numerous books, catalogs, and articles in the fields of 20th-century and contemporary art, including Mark Tobey and Alessandro Raho (co-authored with Michael Bracewell and Nicholas Cullinan).
