"French Contemplative Philosophy and Philosophy of Thought." (Text in German.) The adoption of contemporary French philosophy in the German-language area occurs with almost no knowledge of that specifically French tradition, which permitted the development of this thought next to the sphere of influence of German phenomenology. This volume attempts to correct this situation. A geneology is established, beginning with Descartes and reaching into the present day. Specialemphasis is placed on Malebranche, Maine de Biran, Lagneau, Alain, Brunschvicg and Le Senne, as well as on renowned contemporary authors, such as Claude Bruaire and Jean-Luc Marion.Die Rezeption der französischen Gegenwartsphilosophie im deutschsprachigen Raum verläuft weitgehend ohne Kenntnis jener innerfranzösischen Tradition, die solches Denken neben dem Einfluß deutscher Phänomonologie erst möglich gemacht hat. Dise Lücke zu schließen ist ein Anliegen dieses Buches. Von Descartes ausgehend, wird eine Genealogie bis in unsere Tage hinein erarbeitet, wobei der Akzent besonders auf den Namen von Malebranche, Maine de Biran, Lagneau, Alain, Brunschvicg und Le Senne liegt, ohne namhafte jüngere Autoren wie Claude Bruaire und Jean-Luc Marion zu vergessen.
