A theatrical veteran and comedy circuit regular, Joe Alaskey was plucked from the stage and comedy clubs in the 80s to star in the motion picture Lucky Stiff, directed by Anthony Perkins, and won a place in the hearts of millions as the lovable Uncle Beano on the science fiction situation comedy, Out of This World. A fixture on 80s television, he was the co-star of Couch Potatoes and guest starred on countless shows including Head of the Class, Night Court, Nurses, Hollywood Squares and The Match Game.
