Pai de três filhos, o Autor é casado com a Sra. Albine Chouchou N'SANA. Tem um mestrado em Direito Internacional pela Universidade de Abomey-Calavi, no Benim, e um mestrado executivo em Gestão e Direito Comercial pela Universidade de Liège, na Bélgica. Actualmente, ensina no ISC-Kinshasa e investiga na Universidade de Liège.
