The Historical Society is pleased to present this compilation of images covering tourist sites, landmarks, neighborhoods, and other interesting aspects of Frederick County from the early to mid-20th century. Founded in 1892, the Historical Society preserves and shares the county's history through its museums, library, public programs, and publications such as this and Images of America: Frederick County, published by Arcadia in 2005.
