As a mother to two daughters, she has read her share of children's books and dreamed of one day writing her own. Pulling from fond memories of her childhood, Valerie created adorable characters based on actual family pets. Her picture books delight children and parents alike with their whimsical rhymes and colorful illustrations.Valerie lives in sunny California where she spends her free time playing with her sweet Maltipoo, immersing herself in a good Netflix series or planning her next cruise vacation. She loves bargain hunting, going to the movies, and enjoying a great glass of Sangria!
