Raylyn gasped, Where had that idea come from? Heidi! Why do you ask?" Roger was in his office. He'd never heard those voices before. One was a child's, but the other was a young woman's. Isabel and her company had arrived. He walked into the auditorium with a smile. In the dim light, he saw the new lady and couldn't look away. Her face was lovely, he figured she'd fit perfectly into the circle of his arm. Clemens, get a grip! She has a child; therefore, there's a husband somewhere. He swallowed and finally croaked out, "Hello, I'm Roger Clemens, the preacher."
Autorenporträt
I grew up a very shy, only child and often made up stories to entertain myself. As I grew up, I determined to become a nurse and went to a small Christian college for two years with that in mind. It was there I met my future husband. Some time later we married, we had our first child and I did become a nurse. Later, we moved to Indiana and had our second child. When he went to college I started writing. I have been writing for quite some time and have two other books published. Now my two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. My dear husband has since gone to heaven, but I'm still writing.
