Hence, study of history at a micro level, which will help in tapping the sources which hither to have been over looked, will greatly help in achieving this objective keeping this in view, the history of freedom movement in Krishna district has been chosen as the topic of study for my research work. As most of the development freedom struggle took place during 1920-47, this period has been selected for present study.

Dr.B Naga Padmavathy is presently working as Vice-Principal & Lecturer in History, SKSD Mahila Kalasala,Tanuku, AP.She has 32 years of teaching experience. She has been University Nominee and Subject expert on B.O.S of various Colleges.She published 2 books & several papers in reputed international journals.She got State Best Teacher Award in 2013.
