Through the practices of sociability, we understand, among other things, stigma and exclusion within a Freinet School in Natal - RN. To this end, the limits of the cooperative principle are worked on, such as the creation and breaking of rules. And the contradictions and other types of exclusion of people with disabilities are analyzed, as well as the process of stigmatization and, in some cases, the mortification of these people at school. In this case, an ethnographic study was carried out in a school in the south of the city. Based on participant observation, we lived at the school for at least 10 months, where we were able to observe a high school workshop and work on the conflicts and contradictions of self-management at school and classroom level. The school seems to value the Freinet methodology, but without strengthening the bonds of more informal sociability with the students, which compromises its reach as a libertarian pedagogy.
