Autorenporträt
Louis-Claude Daquin (1694-1772) was a virtuoso organist and harpsichordist who wrote in the Baroque and Galant styles. As a child, Jean-François Dandrieu (1682-1738) played for the court of Louis XIV, the beginning of a successful career as a harpsichordist, organist, and composer. Composer, organist, and harpsichordist Claude-Bénigne Balbastre (1727-99) was among the most famous musicians of his era.
