The present work is a study on the frequency of Burnout Syndrome in the health personnel of a Health Center in Guayaquil. The research was carried out with a descriptive, quantitative, prospective and cross-sectional design methodology, the population consisted of 30 health personnel. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire was used, which consists of 22 questions to determine the three criteria for the development of burnout syndrome: Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal fulfillment. The results showed that the predominant sex was female with 67%, age from 26 to 49 years with 50%, with a number of children of 2 with 37%, while among the evaluation criteria, the component with a high percentage index was emotional exhaustion with a variation from 50 to 70%, followed by depersonalization with which there was not much percentage difference with 47%, followed by personal fulfillment varying from 7% to 3%.
