The author is currently lecturer at UNESCO-IHE, Institute for Water Education, Beside teaching environmental planning and policy subjects, He is also involved in a number of research and capacity development projects e.g EU-AFROMAISON,NICHE Egypt etc. For his PhD research he is looking at the role of spatial planning tools in Natural Resource Mangt
