Produktbeschreibung
Youth sexuality and reproductive health are generally not well addressed in Sub Sahara African. As a result, problems like unwanted pregnancy, complications of unsafe abortion, and STI including HIV/AIDS remain very common, particularly, in the developing countries such as Ethiopia. Existing services focusing on youth reproductive health programs have not been assessed whether the services are optimal as per the national and international standards or not. This book documents the existing situations of youth friendly reproductive health services and assesses the socio-demographic character of current service users. A cross-sectional analysis is done in selected Model Youth Centers with primary focus on facility inventory, providers' attitude, interaction of providers with youth, and service characteristics. This report gives some information to the reproductive health needs and service preference of adolescents and young adults and will be helpful for policy makers, reproductive health service providers at facility levels and to all players engaged in Youth reproductive health, primary and secondary health care in developing world.
