Pamela Cali Bankston lives in South Louisiana where the "steamy and sticky" weather inspired her to create her character Frizzy Frieda in the first book in the series, Frizzy Frieda's Gymtastrophe. There are at least three books planned in the delightfully illustrated Frizzy Frieda series. Certified in pediatrics, she continues to practice as a Registered Nurse along with pursuing her writing. She is grateful for the support of her family, friends, and fellow authors from Creative Minds Writer's Group who encourage her to "Be herself and find her own way to shine!"
