This book tells the story of a lonely little frog who was rescued after being separated from her parents by a caring grownup frog. The stranger takes her in and cares for her as if she were his own. She soon meets other swamp creatures and a family bond is created. All the animal creatures imitate human behavior. They work and play together and enjoy the simple things that life provides for them. She continues to grow from a little diaper-wearing infant into a fine precious little girl. The joy that she brings to the "Kooterville Swamp" will inspire all who read about her experiences.

Autorenporträt
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in the nearby town of Hammond. I enjoyed the wide outdoors, and had the opportunity to observe many small creatures of the backwoods and waterways. I attended Greenville Park High School (now renamed) and participated in band, artwork, sports, and a scholarship club. After graduating from high school, I attended Southern University A & M University in Baton Rouge for a year. Soon after college, I moved to California, but I took the memories I had with me, many of them reflected in my artwork and the books I have written. I am looking forward to visiting Hammond one day to see my friends and love ones. Hopefully one day we will all be together here on earth to live life the way it was meant to be from the beginning.
