She grew up involved in theatre and dance and has been writing poetry since she was a child. She has also written and published a short story and a children's book. She graduated from two courses in writing children's literature and also graduated from The Institute of Theology by Extension, or INSTE as it is known. She loves to read, sing specials at church and spend time with her family. She is married and has one grown son.
