Elizabeth Vincenty is the writer of the showcased poem, "She Only Left a Note", which appeared in the book titled "Forever Spoken", published by poetry.com in 2007. In both 2007 and 2008, she received the Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry presented by poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry. Elizabeth is a young woman with an old soul who has an outgoing personality, a positive and uplifting spirit that is deliciously contagious and a smile that exudes love. She has always had the desire to spread her love and light onto others through her art and forms of expression. Along with salsa dancing, acting, painting, drawing and writing, poetry has always held a special place within her heart. Elizabeth has suffered tremendously in her life and has found a way to transform all her pain into her purpose. Overcoming the darkest times of her life allowed Elizabeth to evolve into the beacon of light she has become. She wrote this book to not only share her love of poetry but also with the pure intent to help others heal. She believes that through the power of love that transpires through poetry, a broken heart can receive comfort and healing. She has faced many life-changing tragedies and has worked diligently over the years on self-love and self-healing. Through her unique path in life, she has been able to transform all her turmoil into treasure.
