The conception of geographical science is the result of a late process of systematization. The production of knowledge is always facing challenges and overcoming many relevant issues. The main objective of this work is to present a brief analysis of the Geographical Schools incorporated into some of Roberto Lobato Corrêa's works throughout history. It is inferred how the author's evolution was shaped by the concepts and methods adopted and the connection with the schools. The first stage basically consists of a brief review of this geographical history with an emphasis on the 4 schools: the Classical or Traditional, the Quantitative or Theoretical, the Critical or Marxist and the Humanistic or Cultural, emphasizing the main ideas and concepts. The second stage consisted of analyzing some of Master Corrêa's works and the author's methodological evolution, taking a unique look at some of the articles in question. Therefore, the research aims to recover part of the author's intellectual memory and does not assume a definitive character about his work; nor do we intend to summarize his thinking.
