After turning the Hollywood romance inside-out in the L.A. Times bestseller Blind Item, author Kevin Dickson has done the same thing for modern vampirism in From Him To Eternity, the first book in his Vampire State series. Meet Sara, Upper West Side New York therapist by day, leader of a global all-female no-kill vampire society by night. Already burned out after enforcing five centuries of peace, a series of shocking accidents has set Sara on a path of self-destruction - and into the arms of Silas, a depressed loner who also happens to be her patient. As tensions in the vampire world and her outside life begin to overlap and blur, Sara finds herself falling deeper in love, at the risk of everything she holds dearest - including her immortality. "Vampires, New York, intrigue, romance and feminism - everything you could want from a romantasy thriller and so much more. Dickson's writing is sexy, fast-paced and thrilling, I loved it." - Lindsey Kelk, bestselling author of I Heart New York, Love Story & The Bell Witches
Autorenporträt
Kevin Dickson is an Australian-American author who lives in Los Angeles with his husband George, three spectacular dogs, Miss Tuna, Graciela and Olivia, and an irascible parrot named Chapulin. After working as an entertainment journalist in Australia, Dickson relocated to Los Angeles in the late 90s, and found himself in the epicenter of the reality TV explosion. Bouncing between LA and New York for the next twenty years, he had a ringside seat for some of the most scandalous media events in recent history. Dickson exorcised his demons from that time in the thinly veiled tell-all bestseller Blind Item and its sequel, Guilty Pleasure before quitting the business forever. After a brief stint in a punk rock band that toured and recorded a well-received album, Dickson once again turned his attention to the written word, and the Vampire State series was born. These days, Dickson divides his time between writing, hiking, traveling and devouring films, books and music, and running a screen printing business with his husband.
