Considering the unique structure of fucoxanthin, as well as its safety, its significant bioactivities and pharmacological effects, it could represent a promising nutritional ingredient hoping that, in the future, the introduction of marine bioactive substances into human habitual diet could lead to a reduction in the incidence and severity of many disorders.
