Meet Teresa X. Nguyen, a dedicated educator and leader in ESL, ELL, and GED programs at Golden West College in sunny southern California. Teresa is not just shaping minds at college; she's also advancing her own education as a doctoral student at the University of Southern California, where she explores the important topic of diversity in leadership. When she's not teaching or studying, Teresa serves as an English Language Specialist for the U.S. Department of State and delights readers as a published author. With a rich 15-year teaching career, her national and international conference presentations are all about engaging students in ways that really matter-supporting their balance and well-being. Most recently, Teresa has channeled her creativity and love into a very special project: a bilingual book for her own two little "ninjas"-a heartfelt gift to her children.
