Abstract: Entrepreneurship is a central theme in the 21st century. The understanding of the different entrepreneurial motivations is the key to better understand this concept. This book is a synthesis of different research works analyzing the framework of entrepreneurship at both the national and international levels. Its objective is to answer the following question: How to explain the motivation, the intention and the behavior of entrepreneurs in Morocco? The empirical study carried out in the field allows us to conclude that the entrepreneurial intention can be the expression of psychological criteria of the entrepreneur such as the need to realize oneself, the feeling of competence and the risk taking. It can also be the expression of non-psychological criteria such as the environmental environment, entrepreneurial training and the influence of economic factors. This book sheds light on the context in which the behavior of Moroccan entrepreneurs evolves in terms of the formation of intention and motivation in order to be able to take adequate measures to revive the action of entrepreneurship.
