Louis Markos (PhD, University of Michigan) is professor of English and scholar in residence at Houston Baptist University. He is the author of many books, including The Myth Made Fact: Reading Greek and Roman Mythology through Christian Eyes; Ancient Voices: An Insider's Look at Classical Greece; From Achilles to Christ: Why Christians Should Read the Pagan Classics; Atheism on Trial: Refuting the Modern Arguments Against God; On the Shoulders of Hobbits: The Road to Virtue with Tolkien and Lewis; and Restoring Beauty: The Good, the True, and the Beautiful in the Writings of C.
