Ms. George is a Hunter College Public Service Scholar and New York City Teaching Fellow Alumni. She is also a recipient of the Bell Zeller Scholarship, Melanie Scholarship for Women, Second Start Scholarship and Paralegal Studies Award. Ms. George has survived welfare, domestic violence and incest. She currently resides in the Bronx and looks forward to completing her next book, "From Victim to Victor."
