Autorenporträt
Dr. Robert Bauer was born in a small town in rural eastern Pennsylvania, attended the University of Maryland in College Park on a full athletic scholarship, graduated with honors, and went on to teach 8th and 9th grade science at MacArthur Junior High School in Fort Meade, Maryland. One year later he enrolled in the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine in Baltimore, where he graduated in 1972. He moved to St. Mary's County in Southern Maryland in 1973. After a long career in Family Medicine spanning nearly half a century, he is now fully retired and resides in Hollywood, Maryland with his wife Mary and their dog, Olive.
