Bertram Smith is an author, educator, speaker, and poet who shares his love for the culture, beauty, and history of his birthplace, The Bahamas. He is the author of the poetry collection From the Puddle to the Pond (2020), the middle grade adventure fiction novella The Blue Hole (2021), and the Christian living nonfiction book Through the Battles without the Scars (2024). He is currently working several other books to encourage others who are walking through difficult times in their lives.With an extensive background teaching in public school, colleges, and university settings and active in church ministries over the many years, Bertram also enjoys reading, writing, cooking, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Falashade and Jamani.
