Kate Vredevoogd was born in Bellingham, Washington, where she grew up in the countryside with her loving parents and her many animal friends. She is deeply afflicted by wanderlust, which is why she spent six years in Granada working as a freelance photographer and traveling around Europe. She currently lives in Málaga, Spain.
