Pauline Spurrell is a registered nurse and twice-published memoirist (From the Shadows: Surviving the Depths of Mental Illness and Into the Light: Surviving a Life with Mental Illness). She lives in Hillview, Newfoundland, Canada, with her soulmate of more than thirty-five years, Don Spurrell. She enjoys a simple life by the sea, with interests focused on family activities, especially trips to their remote cabin in the winter and boating in Trinity Bay during the summer.
