Shelly Schwab had a twenty year career at Universal Studios in California. He was President of Universal Television Distribution (formally known as MCA-TV). As President, Schwab presided over the syndication of network series and the studios theatrical motion pictures to cable networks and television station nationally. He was also responsible for developing and producing original programing as well as the companies advertiser sales activity. He began his career as a sales executive for the New York Daily News before moving on to CBS where he held sales and management positions. He also served as Station Manager of the CBS television station in Atlanta. Schwab received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from New York University. He served on the boards of the Television Bureau of Advertising and The National Association of Television Program Executives. He was a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The International Radio & Television Society and The American Film Institute. He was a trustee of The Leukemia Society and a former President of the Georgia Chapter. He and his wife Christine live in Newport Beach.
