The decision to pursue a doctorate in a new area of knowledge represented a search for new horizons and perspectives of analysis. Having been developed in parallel with the philosophy course at the University of São Paulo, the thesis that I am now publishing in book format presents a lot from a Philosophy of Science perspective in verifying religious traits in instrumental rationality. It's impossible for me not to fall into the Campbellian and Jungian way of looking at this issue.
