Autorenporträt
Tara Bushby wrote From Your First Heartbeat to help parents talk to their children born through IVF about how they came to be and normalize the process. Tara says, "Thanks to IVF, my husband and I have two loving children we can't imagine not having in our lives. I wanted to create something to read to them in their early years so they know how much we love them and that we wouldn't change anything we did to have them in our lives." In addition to being a mother and a writer, Tara is an entrepreneur and an artist known for painting abstract acrylic landscapes. She and her family live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Look for Tara's first book, Faith and the Forest, a delightful, educational story for preschool children.
