Alastair MacLeay, a biochemist and professional brewer, was born in London and brought up in Kent. He has lived near Frome for 45 years and has renovated 12 derelict buildings. Alastair is a former Chairman of the Frome Society for Local Study, editor of the Frome Society Yearbook, and has organised Frome Town Walks.
