Originally from New York City, Kaeli Conforti grew up in Hawaii and Florida and then moved to Washington, D.C. following an epic 2-year Working Holiday Visa adventure in Australia and New Zealand. A seasoned travel writer and editor, her work has been featured in Travel + Leisure, Forbes, Business Insider, CNBC Select, Thrillist, Tripadvisor, Mental Floss, Budget Travel,  The Points Guy, among other sites.  Kaeli has thoroughly enjoyed learning about D.C.'s many diverse neighborhoods, going for long walks in Rock Creek Park, and checking out as many bars and restaurants as possible near her place in Shaw.
