Elisabetta Gualandri, MA in Financial Economics at the University College of North Wales, is a Full Professor of Banking and Finance in the Marco Biagi Department of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, where she is a member of the Center for Studies in Banking and Finance (CEFIN). She is also the Director of the European Association of University Teachers of Banking and Finance - Wolpertinger. Valeria Venturelli is an Associate Professor of Banking and Finance in the Marco Biagi Department of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, where she teaches Financial Markets and Institutions at both undergraduate and graduate level. She graduated in Economics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and received a PhD in Financial Markets and Institutions from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy. Alex Sclip is a Post-doc researcher in the Marco Biagi Department of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. He earned his PhD in Banking and Finance at the University of Udine, Italy. His research interests are focused on risk management in banking and insurance companies, bank capital structure and financial regulation.
