Hong is a renewable energy developer and book author, with a portfolio exceeding 10 Gigawatts (GW) of clean energy assets across the U.S. and Latin America. His expertise spans the entire lifecycle of solar, wind, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging projects, guiding them from development, financing, construction and operations. As the co-founder of Energy Hunters and RioNadi Energy, and energy leader, Hong has spearheaded investment strategies and led projects over $500M.He holds a degree in Economics and Public Policy from at the University of Chicago, as well as a Business Administration and Finance degree from Berea College. Based in Houston, Texas, Hong enjoys writing, soccer, horseback riding, calisthenics, and chess. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Chinese, enabling effective communication and collaboration across diverse cultural and professional landscapes.
