Born just days after the Nazis marched into Budapest in 1944, the Jewish child who would grow up to become attorney Elliot Fixler managed to miraculously survive the Holocaust. Traveling to Czechoslovakia, then Israel, and finally settling in Buffalo, Fixler grew up to become a successful trial lawyer, trying cases from Connecticut to California. His reputation for courtroom pyrotechnics placed him in the center of countless fascinating cases. An ardent sports fan, his success in the courtroom was matched by his children's many triumphs on the basketball court. After relocating to Florida in 2004, Elliot settled in Palm Beach Gardens where he currently lives. He is an active member of the Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens.
