My name is Beryl Brisport. I attended Herbert Lehman College where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in English. I went on to New York University where I earned my Master's Degree in English. Next I went to Long Island University where I received a Master's Degree in Special Education.I have spent many years as an educator in New York. In fact, teaching has been my vocation. It really delights me to awaken young minds through the use of reading.Having taught in various schools in New York, I was exposed to the lack of reading skills among students. Consequently, as a retired teacher, I have decided to write books in an effort to offer some contribution to the improvement of students' reading.
