Maria is an accomplished creative director and photographer who founded and owns a boutique creative studio specializing in brand development, brochure and magazine creation, and is also a successful editorial photographer. One of her many talents is her ability to tell stories, whether it is through her photographs, her videos, or her creative writing skills. A passion project to share her beloved dog's adventures brought her first children's book to life. Emilio Darlun was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina...or in Sicily, Italy...or in Senones, France?...mmmm...maybe, rather, on some strange unknown planet. He began illustrating when he discovered intergalactic crayons, interplanetary chalk and barionic pencils. His passion for children's illustration was born from absorbing electromagnetic children's books, which a comet used to leave in his cosmic room. Emilio makes illustrations for Argentina, Europe and for distant galaxies in parallel worlds. After flying, sailing, diving, jumping and dancing, illustrating is what he likes to do the most.
