Dr Amal Ch Kataki completed his post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986, He received his postgraduate training in Gynecolgic Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 1987. Dr Kataki was selected for training at the Mayo Clinic, USA (1996) and Hammersmith Hospital, London (2002), both under the prestigious UICC Fellowship. He has also received advanced training in Gynec-oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, USA, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, and St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London. During his tenure many academic courses viz. MD in Radiation Oncology, MCh in Surgical Oncology, Head & Neck Surgery, Gynaecologic Oncology, DM in Medical Oncology and Onco-Pathology and PhD was started at BBCI. Two Years PG Fellowship Programs, TMC-BBCI Merck Fellowship for African Countries in addition to twenty other paramedical courses were introduced. Dr. Kataki has 208 research publications in peer reviewed National and International Journals andconducted 35 research projects till date. Dr Debabrata Barmon, completed MD in the year 2000, followed by 20 years of experience in gynaecological oncology. Presently Professor and HOD, Dept of Gynae Oncology, Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati. He has 37 indexed publications to his credit, few of which are hi-index publications. He has contributed a chapter in a textbook on Oncology. He is PI and Co-PI of four ICMR/DBT funded project. He received the Best Paper in Oncology Award at the All India Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology held in Jan 2013 at Mumbai. Awarded the IACA Travelling Fellowship for Onco surgical Training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, USA. He is a trained Colposcopies and has undergone Master Trainer course for Treatment of CIN. Laparoscopic surgery He has undergone training in MIS at Frankfurt, Germany, undergone Gynaecological Onco-surgery training at Singapore and Roswell Park Cancer Centre, Buffallo, USA. He is the memberof FOGSI, AGOI, ISO, AONEI, IMS, ESGO, IGCS.
