La Dra. Sunita Chahar es profesora asociada y directora del Departamento de Botánica del N. E. S. Ratnam College of Arts, Science & Commerce, afiliado a la Universidad de Mumbai. Tiene una experiencia docente de más de 30 años. Está especializada en micología, especialmente en hongos micorrícicos arbusculares, que se utilizan en biofertilizantes.
