Prof. Rani Gupta, a PhD in Botany from University of Delhi, is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, University of Delhi. She has over 30 years of teaching experience in the subjects of Microbial Physiology and Metabolism, Prokaryotic and eukaryotic diversity, Bacteriology and Environmental Microbiology, besides mentoring PhD, M Phil and MSc students. Her major areas of research interest include microbial enzymes of industrial applications and development of sustainable green solutions using enzymes to substitute chemical based processes. She has published over 130 highly cited research/review articles and is also a reviewer for several international journals of repute. She has had many national and international research collaborations over the years and has significant research achievements to her credit. Dr. Namita Gupta, is currently a Senior Manager at Foundation For Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), an academia-industry interface organization of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She earned her PhD in Microbiology at the University of Delhi and has over 15 years of professional experience in the areas of areas of biotechnology-oriented research, patent research & IP solutions, technology valuation & transfers, techno-commercial evaluation of innovative technologies, technology financing and industrial collaborations.
