Over the last four years I have taught business ethics as a lecture course I have noticed that there are very few simplified text books special for beginners. Many books are very advanced in terms of their contents and hence are not user-friendly to the beginners. This book is designed for students to assist them to advance their knowledge of concepts and theories of business ethics and to further build their skills and confidence in business ethics. The materials in this book are provided to give students resources for developing arguments for and against particular positions on issues in business ethics. For practicing managers, the book should aid reflection upon personal and organizational experience. This book is divided into six chapters each representing an important subset of business ethics. The first two chapters explain the concepts of business ethics and the panorama of ethical issues in business. Chapter three looks on to ethical theories that are used to analyze ethical issues in business. Chapter four explains issues surrounding ethical decision-making process. Chapter five explores the concept of whistleblowing, and chapter six relates globalization with ethics.
Autorenporträt
Mr. Ubaldus J. Tumaini is an assistant lecturer at the College of Business Education in Tanzania. He has Master of Public Administration and B.A. in Social Sciences. He has worked as a research scientist at Ifakara Health Institute and as coordinator of research at Aga Khan University in Tanzania. His research interests are in management and health
