This book defined the concept of Environment, it's components (lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere) and their relationship to humans. Secondly, the definition of Environmental Education (EE) was critically reviewed from the 60s to date, its objectives and principles were also explained. Thirdly, the book noted some classification of EE. Fourthly, The importance of Environmental Education can not be overemphasized. Therefore this book explained some notable benefits of EE. Despite it's benefits, Environmental Education have some notable challenges in which the book mentioned but a few. Actionable plans to prevent environmental issues from occurring and reoccurring was also discussed. Lastly, some notable Environmental Education programmes were also mentioned, among others.
