At this Obergurgl seminar, theoreticians and experimentalists discussed recent developments in laser interactions. This volume contains the texts of invited lectures and abstracts of contributed papers. The main topics discussed are: _ multiphoton ionization _ above-threshold ionization _ collisions in strong fields _ atoms in intense fields _ chaos in radiative interactions _ electron correlations in multiphoton processes _ Rydberg atoms in external fields _ other laser interactions.
