Dotse Selali CHORMEY is a PhD candidate in Analytical Chemistry at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul - Turkey. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology (Kumasi - Ghana), after which he performed his national service at the Food Research Institute (Ghana) as a technologist. He then proceeded to the Graduate School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences (University of Ghana) where he obtained his Master of Philosophy in Nuclear and Radiochemistry. He worked briefly at the National Nuclear Research Institute, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, before pursuing his doctorate studies.Sezgin BAKIRDERE is currently a professor doctor in the Chemistry Department at Yildiz Technical University. In 2001, he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Firat University, Elazig, Turkey. He received his MSc in Analytical Chemistry from the same university in 2003, and then earned his PhD degree from the Chemistry Department at Middle East Technical University in 2009. His research background over the past 17 years has been mostly focused on metal speciation, volatile compound generation systems, SQT atop trap systems, food analysis, pre-concentration strategies, wastewater treatment and chromatography. He performed some studies regarding speciation of thiols and arsenic at the National Research Center of Canada during his PhD studies. In regard to his expert areas, he has published 63 papers in international journals having high impact factors. In addition, he has 87 publications resulting from national/international conferences.
