And of course he would never forget those visits with his favorite nymphomaniac. He also experienced terror in facing the irate husband of one of his lady "friends" of that fingerbowl district of Atlanta's Northside known as "Buchhead." Funderburk was to become well acquainted with the warm comfort of the little derringer nestled in his right front pocket along with his switchblade, both of which served him well on more than one occasion.
